Crest State Gages Installed
– June 21, 2025
LUWSD collaborated with the NM Water Resources Research Institute to install crest stage gages downstream of Dam A and Dam B. These simple tools record peak water levels during storms using cork and a wooden staff, helping monitor flood activity and improve future planning.
